About Sneakers
I want to say in the Sneaker Game, it is easy to lose your moral compass at times and today I felt it the strongest.  I had vowed to never be a reseller; line up with sole intention to buy a sneaker in order to sell it to make a profit. I feel it is different if people buy a sneaker and wear it (or not) and then decide that it is not what they wanted and then deciding to sell it. The intention...

Schoolbreds
Looking like a medieval Gothic tavern (in my imagination), this place in the East Village served a large selection of beers and even better had 2 for 1 beers even for Belgian heavy weights! 2 for 1 coupon to use at any time! Chimay 2 for 1!!

MacOSX Lion Features that may be overlooked →
Normally don’t try to post tech articles, but for someone who likes to get the most out of operating systems, this one came in very useful.

WatchWatch
Thought I’d share a video made about one of my favourite spaces in New York. I look up to Jeff and his success in the publishing, design, street wear industries.

Juniper - Awesome Burgers
Burgers in this country are so awesome. Looks like an ordinary Brooklyn restaurant, even looking inside it is nothing much, but boy…. … these burgers are c-r-a-z-y. The Asian chef is all tatted up and speaks perfect American English. Came to talk to us because the Giants game was on the TV and was happy to chat about the game and some (not all!!) of the secrets behind his recipe...

NewEraCapTalk - Top Fitteds of 2011 →
After scrolling through the list and not noting anything of significance I was quietly surprised that my top pickup of 2011 was actually their fav one of the year.

Brooklyn Flea Market
First visit to the flea market. Vintage furniture, toys, t-shirts, clothes.  The view from the market is pretty wonderful. What a backdrop. An outing is never complete without some form of snack. Hot food on a chilly day.  I need to go to Porchetta to try that pork.

Hester Street Fair.
In the dying days of fall, we went to the Hester Street Fair. Lots of small food vendors showing off all sorts of delicious items. Too bad I only have one stomach. We had initially arrived when the crowd was leisurely, not bustling and pushy as it always gets later on in the arvo. They DO have balls. Great tasting deep fried rice balls. Kinda like risotto in a ball, fried.  So tasty....

Topaz Thai
Literally right around the block, this small and always busy place is a good option for Thai if we are tired of Wondee Siam I or II or Pure Thai Shophouse. Different types of dishes that we eat here but still so so tasty! Pad Kee Mao - Spicy and Basil-y Fish fillets with spicy sauce. MAN those pieces were big. This picture doesn’t do it justice. Hahaha What-the. Sexy M-16 Swimming...
